It may help to switch on the rolloff filter on the mic. That will
certainly cut down on the very low frequency sounds.

Being next to a lake it may or may not be wind noise.  But you
definitely need to do better than the foam cover.  Those foam covers are
primarily pop filters to keep down the sound of the performer producing
bursts of air as the sing/talk. They may actually increase the wind
sound under some conditions.
