What you call "pressure waves" sounds to me like the "pulsing" you often ge=
t when the recorder is set on automatic gain control.

If you listen closely to the insect noise you will here the gain go up and =
down between  the pulses of the insect.

Switch over to manual gain control an see if that makes any difference.

I agree with Rob that you need better wind protection for you mic as well.
