Dear Didier,

It is only hard work to edit all those 819 species and 2817 recordings
manually to change german names to scientific names.

Maybe You have to use A translation index for Bird names which You can
find at
http://www.mumm.ac.be/~serge/birds/
http://www.oiseaux.net/
or You can use some other database of bird names. Many databases You
can find by using Google and mostly from pages of national bird
protection/watching organizations.

But first You have to rip data from CDs to Your computer and edit the
data and the upload the files to iPod.

I suggest You make a memo paper as an index.

Cheers,
Kari
