I know, I know. This is a dull one for my first post here, but I just wanted to ask for thoughts on the following issue. I suspect this has been dealt with before though. With something like the Sound devices field recorders (702, 722) they use Li-ion camcorder batteries & with technology moving so fast I wonder if there will come a time when it's just not possible to get hold of these. I'm suprised SD haven't thought of that. Does anyone know of alternative ways to power recorders like this, just in case ? Also, does anyone UK based know of a good supplier for other mAh batteries & also CF cards. There are tons I know but it's always handy to know if someone knows a really good, reliable & resonable supplier. Thanks. Jez www.myspace.com/JezrileyFrench |
