I think the reason there isn't a Mac version of Audition is that a lot of t= he fundament Cool Edit code is highly specific to Intel like (formerly pret= ty much just Pc's) processors. Eg lots of machine code rather than relative= ly simple recompiling to a different Os that I suspect is the case with new= er code created by Adobe for Soundbooth. |
