I've used an Edirol R-09 and Soundman OKM-IIs to record the Skateboarders o= n the South Bank in London. It makes a good combination. The Edirol also records well with the internal mics - just the stereo image isn't as good. This is not a good combination for normal nature recording, but for urban soundscapes it is excellent.
