After searching the web I found plans for a simple m/s headphone decoder on= Mark Griswald=92s site at http://www.pugetsoundman.com/articles/MSheadphone.htm or http://tinyurl.com/3ak5cj I successfully built the device after getting some help from Mark. It wa= sn=92t difficult and I=92m no expert. If interested you can have a look at= the device on my website at http://www.thethirdbarn.org/Pages/Scott%20Sherk/sounds/M-S_gear/index.htm or http://tinyurl.com/2sgd55 I=92ve used the decoder successfully with a MKH 30/40 > Rolls Phantom Box= > Sony Hi-MD and also with the much simpler MKH 30/40 > Fostex Fr2-LE. Ul= timately, I=92ve gone back to monitoring the undecoded signal in mono: one = less box to wrestle. Scott scott sherk www.thethirdbarn.org --------------------------------- Be a better sports nut!
