Following the UK/BBC colours of nautical hue, in UK theatre where I have re= sided for 37 years the last 15 including teaching sound for theatre I have = used the same red/left and green/right for coding ends of cables with pvc t= ape. Red for right was no good as there was not until recently a good choic= e of colour, i.e.. lilac for left colour, so port & starboard it is. Roger Norwood |
