Hi Steve,

This was the cardioid channel. The cardioid picks up a narrower and more am=
plified part of the soundscape and the omni picks up a much wider part of t=
he soundscape and is much less amplified. Other than that they both sound g=
reat, Klas does a very good job.

Most of my recording is now done with my new Telinga stereo dat mic which p=
rovides a much more natural sound.

I like the Cranes too, also the swooshing sound of the ducks landing in wat=
er is very pleasing to me. The sight and sound of waterfowl landing in wate=
r is one of my favorite nature experiences.
