Hello, Well, I usually work with whales and dolphins, but occasionally check out the avian side of acoustics. Some of you may remember the news a while back of the chorus of the Plain-tailed wren. The story is at: http://www.abc.net.au/science/news/stories/s1463185.htm I recently upgraded some software, and took another look at this amazing chorus. One of the resulting images has been uploaded to the 'Files' section as agua9970. This can be read like a song sheet, starting from upper-left, proceeding left-to-right, top-to-bottom, ending at the lower right corner. The entire image represents about 10 seconds, a complete refrain of this remarkable chorus. The sound file is in the news article above. Enjoy, Mark ~~~~ |
