Hello,

Well, I usually work with whales and dolphins, but occasionally check
out the avian side of acoustics.

Some of you may remember the news a while back of the chorus of the
Plain-tailed wren. The story is at:

http://www.abc.net.au/science/news/stories/s1463185.htm

I recently upgraded some software, and took another look at this
amazing chorus. One of the resulting images has been uploaded to the
'Files' section as agua9970. A shorter URL to that file is:

http://tinyurl.com/28fnrb

This can be read like a song sheet, starting from upper-left,
proceeding left-to-right, top-to-bottom, ending at the lower right
corner. The entire image represents about 10 seconds, a complete
refrain of this remarkable chorus. The sound file is in the news
article above.

Enjoy,

Mark
