This could be a great occasion for recordists: a day with less car noise!
Also it could be interesting to repeat recordings in the same
location the day before, during the no car day, and the day after. To
make comparisons.
A great occasion also for those having a phonometer!!

You could try to contact people or agencies involved in noise
measurements to evaluate the difference in noise levels! This
comparison could be very attractive for newspapers and local TVs!!
