Note that I did not say I was against tech talk, just that I have
nothing to contribute to it.  I do read some of it.  That post on
dithering was interesting and the talk about 24-bit vs. 16-bit.  The
sound editing I have done was speech, and not nature or music, and as
that info applied to that area, it was helpful.

I do hope people will continue to post the recordings however, as I
really enjoy them.

identifcation..  The recordings you can hear from here are just icing
on the cake. We should have a clearing house where we could upload
