James You can always provide a "battery box" that supplies something like 5-10 V to the microphones (this just becomes part of the mic cable) that provides the PIP. I don't think PIP can be powered by phantom 48V supplies. But no --- you wouldn't need new mics. (Unless. of course. you WANT new mics...) SP Huckle wrote: > > > All > > I'm really keen on an FR2-LE.
