Initially, I had some trouble viewing Rob D.'s recent Quicktime movies. I could play the audio, but not see the video. Quicktime Player reports that the video codec used to produce Rob's movies is H.264. It turns out that Quicktime Player versions 6.x and older use MPEG 4 version 2 for video decompression. Square peg won't fit in round hole. A simple upgrade to Version 7.x of Quicktime player resolved the video problem. Now I can see and hear Rob's ticking clock presentation. --oryoki |
