Schoeps, hand-held

Speaking of Schoeps, does anyone have a way of holding a stereo pair of Schoeps
CMC6/MK4
mics so that they don't transfer every tiny motion of the muscles in your hand
that you didn't
even know were moving?

I've got them mounted in ORTF configuration, each in its own A 20 S
shockmounts, and on
the Shure A27M stereo adapter
(http://www.shure.com/ProAudio/Products/Accessories/
us_pro_A27M_content), but handling noise transmits like nobody's business. I
tried holding
the A27M in a Rycote grip, didn't help. I'm wondering if some more
sophisticated suspension
system might help, i.e. to suspend the whole A27M.

Or am I crazy to think this is possible?

If I am limited to either cutting out everything below 70-80 Hz or using a mic
stand, then I'm
going to get rid of these mics altogether. Lots of you handhold the Sennheiser
MKH30/40
setup, don't you? Does anyone handhold a Schoeps MS system using the Colette
system (as
opposed to CCM)? I'd prefer the spaciousness of ORTF, but I'm thinking I may
have to
sacrifice that for the ease of using a suspended MS system in the field. Or
would I still face
the same problems?

thanks a lot for any help on this --
Ernst
