I hope I am not just talking to myself and bragging to much.
But, I don't and won't take it personal if someone says I blew the
test or if they say the results prove it is a bad design.

I used a spark to test the attenuation of the Shopvac filter element
windscreen as photographed below.  The spark from a gas BBQ starter is
a very short duration, very loud signal that extends very high in
frequency.

I first tested by placing one mic in the windscreen and a second
rubber banded to the outside of it.  The two mics were possitioned so
that they were the same distance from the spark.

I then put both mics directly next to each other outside of the
windscreen so that you could also see how closely matched the mics are.

I sure would appreciate a comment from anyone because what I think I
see is that the thing works pretty darn good for a windscreen that can
be used in high winds and cost under $20.00.
