Sorry I missed the original post. I've a particular interest in primate rec= ording. For low-frequency microphones, check out the elephant project at Co= rnell. But unless your friend will be looking specifically at very low-freq= uency in orang-utans, the focus should instead be on microphones that have = a good record in the field: Sennheisers and the like. Sumatra and Borneo ar= e notoriously tough places for equipment. Marc |
