it a high priority that your mics and the support "rig" for them be as portable as you can make them? Examples: (a) Do you record while on walks and need light-weight or hands-free micing= ? (b) Is it important to _minimize_ mic handling noises and record longer "takes." The later might require the mics to be on a stand-- some very small and light-weight. Both? Some recordists have to plan to have more than one rig. |
