Hello !

I would like to ask you about how efficient is the Rycote Connbox CB3
for a MKH30/40 setup in a Sennheiser windshield.
I sometimes try to use it on a boompole for insects recordings (arg, my
hands are soooo noisy) but most of the time, its on a tripod (ok, that's
much easier...).
What is your field experience, is it very useful ?
How is it made ?
In France it costs about 300 euros, which seems to me very expensive...
Has anyone tried to build something similar ?

Just also a small opinion on Sennheiser windshield : it is too bad that
there is no room in the pistol grip for a XLR connector... I have my 5
point XLR connector always moving around...

Another question : does anyone tried the tripod Manfrotto 001B.
It is one of the most light-weight tripod from this renowned brand, and
seems to be useable as a microphone stand...

Friendly,

Yannick
