Thanks for the comparisons Tom.  

To my ears, with the Panasonic there is a trade off giving better
overall frequency response for more noise above 6k, I think in this
particular recording the second half with the Rapid sounds better.  
It would be interesting to hear a triplet of Primo EM-158 added to the
mix.
