Thanks Rob I might yet have to adopt a fixed rig and a secure hide. I had even thought= of several piezos flat on the top of the sett area with a sturdy camouflag= ed cover. The reason I'm curious about their behaviour is that my friend, w= ho lives above the valley, can hear them quite clearly from time to time an= d we have a good vantage (and listening) point above them and upwind. james |
