I prefer the Sennheiser to the Rycote as they are a much more sturdy
design. I've not noticed any difference in the sound with either.

My system is built up with parts gotten off ebay, in the course of that
I've bought several used Rycote zeppelins, nearly every one has a few
cracks in the plastic. None of the Sennheisers I have show any sign of that=
.

I use Rycote clips simply because they are easier to come by and come in
greater variety. On mine I use a pair of mono clips to mount one mic and
then a set of dual clips to join the two mics.
