Based on raves on the rec.arts.movies.production.sound list, we
bought two DPA Windpacs for our new, 30/60 pairs
http://www.dpamicrophones.com/. Your 30/40 would fit in the medium
size. The suspension is "softer," adjustable and less prone to
handling noise and the wind protection seems better than the Rycote
and Senn support/zep systems we have. The DPA is bulkier but lighter.
Its more expensive, but not that much more if you've gone that far
into mics. They have some very lightweight stereo XLR cables that are
worth getting.  Rob D.
