I guess this is not a topic for the group, but as it started here
(surely by mistake) I can as well answer it here.
I can't explain it. I tested it with the bench mic amp, with my old
Tascam, with Zoom H4 and with another home-built amp with phantom power.
What I could hear was a too high self noise, which disappeared when I
replaced a leaking capacitor. I thereby hoped that I also fixed "your" prob=
lem.
There is nothing more I can do without also having your FR2, but it
is quite a lot of paper work to get such a thing through the customs
without extensive costs.
