Then thanks Bernie for the idea, which I have used to great success
after learning about it from Dan Dugan.

I have an old surf recording I did with back to back cardioids which as
I recall has excellent stereo - it would be interesting to do a direct
comparison with the tree ear style - Jecklin disc with omnis some time.
