You're right Klas.  The drawing is not representative of the actual mic.
I'll try to redraw it as soon as I get a chance. In reality the 158 is up i=
n
the wire mesh past the end of the tube.



I make the body here.  Its an attempt to keep the cost down because so many
of my froglogger users have 20+ units in use at a time and really good
microphones frequently make the purchase of that many units cost
prohibitive.

Hi Gene!

I hope the drawing at your site is a bit awkward, as the excellency
of the EM158 is when it is 100% in open air, no tubes or baffles,
behind or in front.
Who made the microphone body?
