I've had 2 or 3 condenser mics take direct rain to the point they
stopped functioning-- they were basically soaked.  I was told to let
the mic dry thoroughly in open air before trying them again. I
believe one manuf suggested a week. All came back.  I think it was
Bernie who posted the trick with the silicate bags which could
shorten the time. Rob D.
