Recorded in my backyard early this afternoon in Saskatoon, SK, Canada. http://members.shaw.ca/el_supremo/001-01_q.wav (95kB) Is this a Blue Jay (there were a couple of Blue Jays in the area)? It only made this one sound, separated by silences of up to about 2 minutes. I tried to filter out extraneous noises, including our attic fan. I never did see what was making this noise but all the sparrows, finches etc. that were at the feeders disappeared until this thing had gone. Thanks Pete |
