>Is the foam windscreen which is usually offered for most microphones >of any real value to a nature recordist? They do very little by themselves. You can wrap a fake-fur fabric over it, however, basically using it as a spacer to create the needed "dead air" space around the mic, and that can be effective. -Dan Dugan |
