Tom, conventional wisdom has been to glide in their ( previously sighted ) =
known rivers, swamps, by canoe, kayak, 9am-7pm and have your audio recordin=
g equipment recording all the while. keep your video camera at ready. don't=
 move when you see the bird. back off quietly and snap a photo, video if yo=
u can.

or

get in camo, climb a treestand in a likely spot and wait with audio recordi=
ng going and your vid camera on your lap. -RWA. -ready, willing and able
