Most mic specs that I look at give a single > number. Note that the MKH-30 has a pre attenuation switch (-10dB) on the side. The specs in parenthesis are for when you switch that in. Virtually never needed in nature recording so pay attention to the regular specs. For some reason some of Sennheiser's spec pages have a footnote on this and others don't. Walt |
