Tree Frogs & Noise

Last updated: July 7, 2006

Do Frogs Like Rock 'n Roll?

Beth Dawson will be our featured speaker at our July general meeting. Beth
will be talking about Noise and Tree Frogs.

Whether it's loud music or loud highways, there's no doubt that humans have
added a lot of noise to the world. How does this affect frogs? After all,
they depend on their calls for mating and other social behaviors. We'll
look at one species of frogs that seems to love to hang out underneath high=
way
overpasses and talk about what may be going on in their wee little heads.

So bring a friend and come see the world through a frog's eyes - er, I mean
ears.

Friday, July 28th at the Cubberly Community Center in Palo Alto.
Doors open at 7:30PM; meeting starts at 8:00PM.
