As you have a potential mid mic in the rode ntg-2 now, if you can part with the money, you could try that with an mkh 30 (with phantom supply) and start generating some sound files on your camcorder. Or there might be a film rental house near you could rent an mkh 30 from? Or get a nh700 and compare the mpg1 to HiMD pres/formats. Rob D. > |
