Most definitely is cell phone data. Worse than that are Blackberries that = will have you ripping the head phone off. I get this all the time in depositions with every lawyer in the room carryi= ng some kind of data device. Distance of separation will usually take care of the cell phone. All of these devices "phone home" an intervals to see if there are any messages and to report their locations. Another by the by If you are in a remote location with very weak signals, your phone will be= using more battery than in stronger signal areas.
