Both units do USB transfers using Sony's SonicStage software. The
M100 is for Mac/PC, the RH-10 for PC only

You'll enjoy stereo. For the loud settings as you describe, perhaps
give the ECM-DS70P a try before you invest more money in mics. Was
it Martyn that posted a ECM-DS70P->M100 recording last fall? I
recall it sounded quite nice.
