Interesting idea. I've gotta give that a try some time!

I enjoy the "panning/crossfading" effect one gets by wandering about in 
a crowded non-natural environment like a fair or food court or 
something. Sounds and voices moving in and out... bits of this, bits of 
that. I've stumbled on a few real gems that way.
