Western Flycatcher sounds

Okay,
So after reading all the laments about gear talk, I have decided not to
unsubscribe and instead to make my first post:

In western North America we have a little discussion going over whether it
was a good idea to have split the former
Western Flycatcher, Empidonax difficilis, into two species, the Cordilleran
Flycatcher (E. occidentalis) of the interior, and
the Pacific-slope Flycatcher (E. difficilis) of the coast. I have put up a
website that allows comparison of the sounds of the two nominal species with
some samples I have from central Oregon, where the identify of Western
Flycatchers is in doubt.

If anyone has recordings from the range of the Cordilleran, or from the
large contact area east of the Cascades and Sierras, and would be willing
for me to post them on this site, please contact me.

Thanks,

Arch McCallum
