Hi Romilly, I did not do any measuring, but I could not detect a difference compared to the 3032. For some time I used the two pairs to make quadrophonic nature recordings and the sound image I got was homogenous. So I would say that there is some truth in the specs. I will post some more details on my quadro design, pictures and sound samples shortly for those who are interested.
