The manufacturers messed up the plug in power way of powering a mic. In the=

beginning they took the 1,5 v from the battery and added a resistor only.
That worked fine. But then some wise guys came up with the idea to use a
current regulator instead of the resistor, to improve the input impedance.=

Correct thinking, but it never worked well.
I don't know about the HiMD's plug in power.
