Yes I do. I use an Sound Devices MP-2 for Channels 3&4 on the 744T.
In a test I did, which others evaluated too, we could not distinguish
a significant difference in sound quality even though the MP2 uses
transformers in the preamp circuit and and the 744T has
transformerless pres.  Together they makes a very small package but
one has to sit upside down in order to use  shortest possible jumper
cables from mp2->744T.

Ha, yes!! Identical audio performance to the MP-2.
