I am seriously thinking of upgrading my 722 to the 744 but I have a questio=
n
maybe for Rob who I think has one?

I believe you have to have an additional pre-amp for the extra channels on
the 744?

What pre-amp do you use and have you used the mixpre by sound devices with
the 744?

Would the mixpre be suitable (mainly because I have one :-)
