Oryoki,

The price for this PSD looks good (hyperdrive).
Although, in the webpage says that need something
else?

NB: A hard disk (not included in this package) is
required for the device to function. You can buy any
2.5" Notebook IDE hard disk from you local computer
store or from www.tigerdirect.com. It takes less than
5 mins to install the hard disk into the HyperDrive.

Do you know what's this?

After the recomendations you and others gave me, I
found this one:

Wolvernie PSD 80GB=3D 269.00 USD

---------------------------------
Recently I posted a message (# 20076) describing a
couple of portable
storage devices useful for saving copies of digital
recordings and
photos while traveling. The devices I recommended had
no USA
distributor, which was cause for concern for at least
one reader.

Now there is a USA distributor for one of the devices.
 The Compact
Drive PD70X is sold in USA by a company called Sanho
LLC in Sunnyvale,
CA. Due to some legal considerations, the device
called "Compact
Drive PD70X" in worldwide markets is renamed the
"Hyperdrive HD80" for
sale in USA. Otherwise the devices are the same.

Price for the Hyperdrive HD80 without hard disc is
$149, shipping
included. That's about the same as the delivered
price from the
dealers in Australia and Singapore. Sanho LLC will
begin selling HD80
with hard disc installed in a few weeks. Orders can be
placed at
http://www.hyperdrive.com/shop/index.php

This caveat still applies: This device provides file
storage only.
It doesn't play back your audio recordings or photos.
If you prefer a
storage device that can play back your recordings,
then consider a
device like the Archos Gmini 400, which has a
Compactflash slot and
supports WAV file playback.
