My mkh 30 and and Nt2A sputtered on two of the same 5 nights. The MBHO 603/200's and mkh40's hung in with the 3032. The 3032's output at 19mv/Pa for my unit seems like it might be a bit low, too. How well the 3032 performs against the expensive mics will be fun to track, but it seems they are a very very safe investment. Isn't the AT3032 the only low cost, <10dBA self noise omni we know of? Eric's find is very impressive considering how little attention the 3000 series has received and that AT specs are often on the optimistic rather than conservative side. Great idea to side by side compare it with the 183 Dan!
