I have been searching for just the right headphone to monitor my recording opportunities while using minidisk. I have a dish with Shure 183's and a pair of spaced Shure 183's plus a ME-66. =20 I have hearing loss starting at 4 kHz and progressing slightly more severe as the frequency goes up. I am primarily recording bird song. I have the Sony MRS 7506 and they are very good but sound is accurate and as a result I hear the bass sounds more strongly than the higher pitch sounds. I am looking for a model recommendation of headphones that will accent the higher tones so when I am running a device without EQ I can hear the higher sounds better. I do want the sound quality that I am getting from my Sony's.
