Hello. Does anyone know if there is any advantage of using a mic preamp lik= e the FEL over increasing the gain on the computer after recording by normalising the sound? Is one method less likely to produce hiss than another? It would be used with a sony ECM MS907 which i realise is a bit noisy itself but I have looked into buying the Rode NT4 to replace my sony and it is too big and heavy for my purposes. Many thanks, Judy ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ |
