OK, anyone out there sold a DAT recorder lately? I've finally made my
peace with selling off my DAT rig. But I honestly don't know what
it's worth anymore. If anyone has any thoughts, I'd appreciate
hearing them. I've looked on eBay, but this stuff doesn't show up
there that often.
I have an HHB Portadat, a Lunatec V2, a portabrace case for it, a
Frezzi NP1 battery adaptor, and 4 NP1 batteries, and an Aspen ROQ-4
NP1 charger. It's a great rig, custom cables for it all, the HHB, V2
and NP1 all fit in the portabrace, it's served me well. But with the
722, I just haven't used it enough to keep it.
I figure the preamp is still worth about $500, hoping the Dat might
be worth that. Anyone sold or bought anything like this lately?
Otherwise, I might consider donating it to a school or University
that could use it, if anyone has an recommendations for programs that
might be able to use it, send them along too.
