If you scroll to the bottom of the workshop page you will see a carriage
carrying 8 d-cell batteries that I use for external power when all others
have gone flat, made by Leonard at Sonic Studios.

The Portabrace cases are the best in the world, expensive but durable. If
you invest in the 722 it is well worth looking after it.

Subject: [Nature Recordists] 722 batteries/cases

What is everybody doing to power their 722/744's? Buying the sony
NP-F970 and clones? The best price I see on them is ~$100 for the
sony and $60ish for the others. Is any body running off an external
NP-1 style battery?

Also, what kind of cases are you guys using in the field? I was
leaning towards the small Petrol Eargonizer, but I'm not sure...

Thanks!
