Re: M-Audio MicroTrack 24/96 update

I ran through the taperssection.com posts quickly
this morn as we're considering buying some:
~Len at Core Sound measures the phantom power at 30 volts
~ Noise bed measurements on the mic pre inputs
http://home.rustradio.org/~rdvdijk/microtrack/
~Digital input records only 16 bit - with no
monitoring through line or headphones
~USB 2.0 transfer rate is about 1.78 MB/sec
~More discussion about power/running time and GB limits and work-arounds
M-Audio is promising a firmware upgrade to
address "many" of the issues within a week.
