Rich,
I will forward you a preliminary plan for an Owl symposium to occur in
Duluth over St Patrick's Day weekend next spring. The big names in Owl
science will be in attendance. I would like to know if your nature
recordists group would want to do a listening room at the event. The
subject is Northern owl irruptions, any ideas you and the group has, I
would be your contact for planning them. Be safe down south.

Thanks Greg.
So far the big difference between hurricane Ivan and Katrina is that
there is no motel rooms available within 200 miles of ground zero.
I am currently talking to people to mooch showers and sleeping in the
minivan. This morning I have to find my shots as cdc has recommended
hep a,b and typhoid. Doesn't sound like I am in the US does it. There
are big differences between the local news and national news about
what is going on and I will try and get a better handle on that to
describe it.
